Overview

At UCSC, online courses are just like their face-to-face equivalents. Students are challenged, encouraged to think deeply, and expected to perform undergraduate university-level work.

Joining High School Summer Online means: 

  • Engaging in undergraduate college classes online, either synchronously or asynchronously, alongside UCSC students, students from other colleges, and high school peers.
  • Earning academic credits that transfer to future colleges or universities, or even back to high school.

2025 Dates:

  • Session 1 classes run from June 23 - July 25, 2025
  • Session 2 classes run from July 28 - August 29, 2025

  1. Complete the High School Verification Form and Waivers (Coming this Spring)
  2. Register (Opens April 1). Even if you took summer classes at UC Santa Cruz last year, all visiting students must register annually to enroll in classes
