High School Summer Online
At UCSC, online courses are just like their face-to-face equivalents. Students are challenged, encouraged to think deeply, and expected to perform undergraduate university-level work.
Joining High School Summer Online means:
- Engaging in undergraduate college classes online, either synchronously or asynchronously, alongside UCSC students, students from other colleges, and high school peers.
- Earning academic credits that transfer to future colleges or universities, or even back to high school.
High School Summer In Person – Commuter
Join us on campus, students will:
- Dive into a real college experience with our in-person commuter program. Choose from a range of courses and enjoy access to campus resources like the library and fitness center.
- Get your own UCSC ID Card, doubling as a Metro bus pass. Or, opt for a parking pass if you prefer to drive to campus. Please note, there’s no on-campus housing available for high school students.
