I was afraid of transferring to a university in full swing. I was accustomed to the community college lifestyle, and UCSC seemed very intimidating to me. I was hoping the Summer Edge program would ease me into life at UCSC, and it did just that! I was thrilled to explore the campus at my pace with fewer students around.

Summer – Fall Transitional Housing

Students in Summer Edge or 10-week housing assignments who have an assignment in fall can apply for Transitional Housing to stay on campus after their program ends and move into their fall assignment early. Students apply for Transitional Housing as part of the Summer Edge housing application process (studenthousing.ucsc.edu).
