Important 2025 Dates for Summer Edge Students
April 1: Registration opens for Summer Edge.
May 2: Summer course enrollment opens for registered students (see add/swap deadlines for each session).
June 2: UC SHIP Waiver opens for students enrolled in summer.
June 15: Registration closes for Summer Edge.
June 23: Session 1, 8-week and 10-week classes begin.
June 30: Deadline to submit 2024-2025 FAFSA or Dream App for summer aid (this is in addition to the 2025-2026 app submitted for fall).
July 2: Deadline to submit UC SHIP Waiver for summer quarter.
July 3 – July 17: Late Waiver Period for UC SHIP. (Approved waivers must pay a late fee).
July 25: Move-in Date for students who are living on campus for the Edge Residential Experience.
July 28: Session 2 classes begin.
