Summer Academy International is an exciting opportunity for new International students to transition with confidence to university life in the United States, get a head start on degree progress, and meet other new international and domestic UCSC students.

Come and experience a rigorous academic environment at a world-class research university and connect with dedicated faculty in small classes that support your success.

Living in the residence halls with other first-year UC Santa Cruz students, Peer Mentors, and Resident Assistants, you will not only make great connections with classmates and roommates, but also have the opportunity to learn about and explore your new home at UCSC, Santa Cruz, and California!

Summer Academy also offers trips around the Bay Area and Santa Cruz, as well as activities on-campus to introduce International Academy students to the University’s unique location, culture, community, and identity.
