Course Webpages and Online Resources

New Course Material:

We recommend that you use Canvas for your course materials. Each course will have an unpublished course shell with the roster of enrolled students and instructor of record already created in Canvas. You can simply add your materials and activities and publish the course. Learn more about Canvas here.

Existing Course Material:

eCommons is also available for courses that have existing materials in eCommons. Existing courses may be taught in eCommons or migrated to Canvas for Summer 2017. Since eCommons will retire after Winter 2018, new course materials are not able to be created in eCommons any longer.  All new course development should be done in Canvas.

If you have an existing course in eCommons that you would like to migrate to Canvas, please contact the FITC. We have already extracted course content for previous quarters, and can assist you in planning and executing your course migration.
