INDEPENDENT FIELD STUDIES (Undergraduate)

You must submit a completed and signed Petition for Individual Studies form (available from the sponsoring department office) to the Summer Session Office beginning on April 16. Note that Field Studies are independent of session and may be completed any time during the ten-week period.
Fees for Independent Field Studies
Fees are $271 per credit. Fee examples below:
Independent field studies students do not receive a summer sticker for ID Cards (unless purchased separately for an additional
$283 campus fee). Please contact the Parking Office if you are interested in purchasing just a bus pass for the summer.

NOTE:
If you are eligible for Financial Aid and are enrolled in Independent Field Studies, please allow up to two weeks for the Summer Session Office to set up the course and enroll you before your aid can be dispersed.
