ID Cards

After enrolling in summer courses, all summer students may obtain a Summer Session student ID card or your Summer 2012 sticker if you already have an ID card. (You do NOT need to have paid your summer tuition to get a sticker, which is different from FWS quarters.) The ID card and sticker is valid all summer long (i.e. both sessions) and entitles you to use UCSC libraries, the Social Sciences computer lab, and the East Field House recreational facilities. (See Facilities & Services for hours of operation for all these facilities.) The ID card with a Summer sticker also serves as your Metro Bus pass from June 25 to September 30. Lost cards may be replaced through ID Card Services for $20, cash or check. Any questions should be directed to idcards@ucsc.edu.

(If you encounter difficulties with card readability at the East Field House, please take your card to the second floor of the pool building, M-F, 9:00-5:00, for assistance in activating it properly.)

Visiting students: y ou may obtain your summer photo ID at ID Card Services (in the Bay Tree Bookstore building) beginning Monday, June 25. You must bring with you a photo ID and enrollment verification.

Continuing UCSC students: Spring 2012 stickers are valid until June 30. Beginning Monday, June 18, you may obtain your Summer 2012 sticker at the Summer Session Office. The Summer sticker is valid until Fall Quarter 2012 begins. Please be aware that once you receive your Summer 2012 sticker, or after midnight on Sunday, July 1, the campus fees (which cover the services provided by your sticker) are non-refundable.
