ID Cards
After enrolling in summer courses, all summer students may obtain a Summer Session student ID card or your Summer 2009 sticker if you already have an ID card. The ID card and sticker is valid all summer long (i.e. both sessions) and entitles you to use UCSC libraries, the Social Sciences computer lab, and the East Field House recreational facilities. (See Facilities & Services for hours of operation for all these facilities.) The ID card is also your pass for the Metro Bus Service. Lost cards may be replaced through ID Card Services for $20, cash or check. Any questions should be directed to idcards@ucsc.edu.
(If you encounter difficulties with card readability at the East Field House, please take your card to the second floor of the pool building, M-F, 8:00-5:00, for assistance in activating it properly.)
"Summer only" students: y ou may obtain your summer photo ID at ID Card Services (in the Bay Tree Bookstore building) beginning Monday, June 22. You must bring with you a valid photo ID and know your 7-digit student User ID number (begins with W). ID Card Services will check to see that you are enrolled in Summer Session courses, then create your new summer ID and validate it with a summer sticker.
Continuing UCSC students: Spring 2009 stickers are valid until June 30. Beginning Monday, June 22, you may obtain your Summer 2009 sticker at the Summer Session Office. The Summer sticker is valid until Fall Quarter 2009 begins. Please be aware that once you receive your Summer 2009 sticker, or after midnight on Sunday, June 28, the campus fees (that cover the services provided by your sticker) are non-refundable.
